Teleporters on the space station Crystal Palace
Actually its only one teleporter. But this teleporter is very special in two aspects. It is the only long distance teleporter ever to be built on (close to) Calypso and it can teleport you back to Port Atlantis on Calypso. The other special aspect is that due to the massive amount of energy used it costs 10 PED to use this teleporter. You can not teleport up to the space station as the teleporters on planet are not as long range and also are unable to track the position of the teleporter on Crystal Palace.

There are a lot of teleporters, but you will already have all of them in your map when you visit CND. 40 TPs are in the 20 biodomes as each dome has a north and south teleporter. Also both apartment complexes (Alpha and Beta), the disco, the shopping center, the spaceship decks and the control room have TPs.

You can find your coordinates in Entropia Universe by hitting the position key in game (typically the p key on your keyboard). Your chat box will show your current coordinate position in an X, Y, Z coordinate plane. X is North/South, Y is East/West, and Z is up and down. Any time you move in Entropia Universe, your avatar's X, Y, Z location will change. If you hit the map key (usually the m key on your keyboard) for the map popup box, you can use the position key to watch your location, map (probably zoomed in) to watch your location, and pay attention to your north/south/east/west direction in your radar to get a sense of which direction you are moving on a local scale - using all this info you should be able to figure out which direction to move to find the next TP if you do not have all the TPs on the list yet. There are various suggested routes that are safest for n00bs to follow to find all TPs. I find that any route works best, especially travelling along waterways, as long as avatar in question keeps in third person perspective, and keeps "red dots," i.e. mobs off the middle radar circle. Water is helpful since land mobs can drown in water and any water-based mobs, like ripper snappers can't travel on land... if you keep travelling along ocean shores, you can switch between land and sea to avoid getting killed a lot. One "safe" water Route runs north of Port Atlantis to the sea, along the beach to Corinth, then west to Ithica, swim from north of there to to Argus, and then to Zeus, and finally to North Space Base, then down the east coast to Minopolis. It is likely that the further east you are in Eudoria, the more likely it is you will run in to robots, especially around Jason Center... be careful, and remember not to wear a lot of armor if you are just doing a TP run for your first time since it is likely you will die, so you don't want your armor to decay a lot unless you purposefully are hunting along the way and know what level of mobs you will come across.

Also, when doing tp runs, or any running around without armor anywhere in game, it's useful to be in third person perspecive, zoomed out so your avatar looks little on the screen, with autorun activated (usually r key on keyboard). Then you can use the left/right buttons (usually z and c key on keyboard to turn), and use the middle mouse button to switch between forward/backwards views while your avatar is moving as fast as possible, and you are keeping track of red dots on the radar so as to avoid them while running in various directions to find your next location you wish to be at, and hitting the position key on occassion to match your current location to the tp list (see above).

GLOSSARY
(*more terms may be added here in the future* - feel free to add a reply with more terms you know of it you like...)

BO=Buy Out. The price you can pay to automatically win an auction as the highest bidder.

CHA = Critical Hit Ability. This is similar to HA but is applied to how often you do a critical damage hit (double damage of a normal hit I think).

Consignment = Selling an item for another person and then paying part of the profits to that person later. Typically, in legitimate consignment deals TT price is paid at time of delivery, and more is paid later after item in question gets sold by the consignment shop or consignment trader.

HA = Hit Ability - this is a score out of 10 used to indicate how well you can aim with a weapon in Entropia Universe. The higher the score, the better your chances are of not missing your target when you shoot a gun or swing a blade. SIB weapons have a definite skill range for each player from the time that you are 0/10 (zero out of 10) until you are at 10/10 (ten out of 10) HA. Various SIB weapons have different skill ranges. See the SIB chart for more info. Even with a 10/10 HA , you will sometimes still miss since Entropia Universe is Dynamic (based on Random Number Generators and other random elements), but your odds of that happening with a maxed HA are far less than with a non-maxed HA. The weapons available from the TT are the main ones that you can max HA on the quickest first. You can find your HA and CHA in the item info window, near the bottom of the second tab (you access this window when you right click an item in inventory or in an auction and click item info)

MU, or MV= Mark Up, or Maket Value. This is the price people are willing or have paid for in the past above TT for various items purchased in auctions.

Ripoff = Something that happens when you got scammed or got the raw end of a bad deal.

SB=Starting Bid. The lowest starting bid on an auction.

SIB = Skill Increase Bonus. This is a definite skill level from which you get additional skills when you are use the item in question. Most, but not all L items have a SIB. Some unlimited items that have L equivalents also have SIBs. The item in question with SIB will indicate the SIB stats on the item info window. Maxing a SIB weapon gives you a 10/10 HA on that weapon, which makes you fairly proficient with that weapon.

SOME TYPES OF TRADE DEALS

TT Price Buying - auction hawks, and TT buying deals with crafters/miners/hunters - usually in person to person trading, who you buy from someone at TT prices they will want something in return... There are deals out there, but they are hard to find sometimes - These sort of deals require some TLC in greasing the wheels of economy, or time to find good auctions (requires logging in to bid on auctions a lot at random times of the day in hopes that you find some TT+0 or below TT offers fast - if you do find below TT offerings, you should bid in a way that the next bid after yours will force the bidder to pay above TT or else someone will overbid you). For trade deals, usually there's some contractual agreement, usually verbal in nature, set up (example - trading animal oils you buy off of hunters at TT prices for oreamp101(L), that you buy off of crafters at TT prices for your mining buddies or yourself in your mining profession, and paying back the hunters in other ways, maybe via supplying them with guns or scopes that your crafting pals make for you at TT prices, etc..) - TT Price Buying is great if you do it a lot and are friends with some consignment shop type places since it gives you an automatic buyer - finding buyers that are willing to pay for stuff more than you bought it for is the hardest part about TT Price Buying, especially since when you buy at TT off of aution you are forcing the markup on the item you bought to go down to zero as soon as you buy it. STTS is one solution for this sort of thing, as is Dead Man's Plunder. Other consignment shops exist, but most of those are not as public with their deal offerings.

Speculation - Buying Low (at a price below current market markup but above TT), and selling high - RISKY business since current market value markups could be artificially inflated, or on the way down due to surplus in supply happening for some reason (more supply = less demand = lower prices).

One type of speculation is VU speculation - this is low risk, but is tricky since you never know if what is in the TT or shops that MA has that sell to you at TT prices will be there in the next vu. Lots of people stock up on opalos, and they just keep showing up every vu, so those stock ups were pointless. On the other hand, some things, like filters blueprints, Enblade 1 instead of Enblade A, colorators, punishers, black clothing, and a few other items have been able to be obtained at TT prices from MA in game, and then were no longer there some vu down the road... so it's not impossible to win big if you get lucky and bought the right stuff, but it is fairly rare for an item to be removed from the TT, so your odds of winning big are pretty slim.

A more risky type of speculation is paying ungodly high amounts on uber items in hopes that prices will go above what they are currently so you win big. This is highly risky since a lot of uber markups do go down on occassion, instead of up... Mod Fap is one example that keeps going up, but other items, like some unlimited sib weapons have been going down in prices lately.

Reselling vs Wholselling and cornering the markets.
It is possible to corner a market, but not for long usually... evil resellers always are raising prices of things by artificially increasing daily markup amounts via buying stuff they are selling themselves or selling to close friends that are helping them in their evil markup raising schemes. Reselling is considered by most to be evil because of this. Wholeselling, on the other hand is more similar to the TT buying strategy mentioned above. Wholesellers typically buy as much stuff as they can at good prices and sell it at prices way below current market values markups, undercutting most evil reseller prices. Some resellers pretend to be wholesellers, but most folks can tell the difference if they pay attention. There are times when traders do a little of both, but typically, most traders usually are either wholesellers or resellers.... Wholesellers tend to actually cause prices to go down in markup over time since they are buying things at prices as close to TT value or below TT value as possible. Resellers cause markups to go up since they sell to one another to artifiically inflate prices... there's a big difference there. I try to be a wholeseller as much as possible, but it's hard to do sometimes since finding a good supply of items at good prices is not easy always. A lot of resellers use the area near the Twin Peaks and Port Atlatis TPs to sell their goods in person to person trade deals, but some resellers also go bigger than that and are shop owners too.

Really bigtime scheming Resellers usually try to eventually corner a market... that is they try to get control of prices in one niche area they are working and jack up prices as much as possible so they profit a lot. Cornering a market is not easy because we never know when supply will change, which can cause demand to change. One example happened a while back with apartments. Apartments used to fill up the estates section of auction with many decades of pages of auctions... One day an apartment buying reseller decided to essentially buyout all the apartments that they could, and suddenly we now only see 1-5 pages of estates on auction at any given time now.. that's because the majority of estates were bought out by a reseller or reselling group... who is now slowly increasing prices on apartment deed markups way above where they were before there was a massive supply of apartments out there... similar type of strategies exist in other markets too, especially in rare ore/enmatter market and uber item markets. Reselling is thought by most to be an evil occupation - and for the most part, I agree... it's sort of market blackmail, and it hurts the community instead of helping it.

U.B.E.R. was started as a way to more or less get a lot of wholesellers together to work more or less like an assembly line or something, where folks trade to one another at the lowest base prices (TT prices) so that they can help one another obtain what they want or need without paying massive amounts of cash to resellers in the process. Together we can accomplish more than we can on our owns. Entropia Universe is a community - we need to work together to reach our goals on both an individual level and on a higher community level. Your socieity can help you achieve some goals, but working between societies with others in various niche areas in all of the Entropia Universe is the real way to achieve a lot more. U.B.E.R. is one freindship group type of thing set up to help you do that.
